Today is my day #8 of the Body by Vi Challenge !
During this day I have the opportunity of film the video #2 with Moises Colon in the Botanical Garden at the Museum of Art of Puerto Rico located in Santurce, Puerto Rico. It is a nice and quiet place inside the busy life of the city in which one can find peace. Also you can walk on the treads or just meditate in the vegetated areas.
Before I proceed sharing this week and day#8 experience, if this is the first time you visit my blog I invite you to ready my Day#1 blog post so you can understand a little more o what is the 90 days Body By Vi Challenge and why I’m doing it.

I had never been so active before. In fact I never been active. So this first 8 days of the Challenge had been very life changing. I feel stronger and with more energies. But I have to tell you, I also felt a lot of pain in my muscles .
But every small effort and consistency bring reward; I loose 1 pound and few inches in my waist during this week.
What exercise plan I’m following ?
ViSalus provides a lot of transformation tools to help you in the Challenge. There is an exercise plan guide wich allow us follow an all ready created guide. This simplify my life and allow me to go everyday straight to my exercised routine without having to give much thought.
What I’m eating?
Since 2010 I am following an octo-lacto vegetarian diet. But since I begin the Challenge I commit to eat as less process food I can, zero cokes and more water. I really don’t have a strict menu of what I’m eating, as long as it is healthy and nutritive, but I do have a pattern for when I eat. This is an example of what a daily menu looks for me :
Breakfast- Body by Vi Shake
Snack – High fiber fruit like Apple or a Banana and some cottage cheese. A cup of green tea or water.
Lunch- Pan-fried tofu with caramelized onions, brown rice , pink beans and side salad with homemade vinaigrette.
Snack – about 4 celery sticks spread with peanut butter or hummus. A cup of green tea or water.
Dinner – Body by Vi Shake
Snack – Cereal with soy milk
