Minimalist House

Each student had to choose one element from each category to define your customer. Based on these characteristics will determinea program for the private residence of this person. The minimum clearances are needed to make a home comfortable without beingostentatious. For each space you have to define a particular objectthat will define your organization.

The objective was to design a house for a client that has one of the followingcharacteristics:

physical:

a. disabled

b. blind

c. deaf

that likes:

a. music

b. sculpture

c. reading

time of the day:

a. morning

b. late afternoon

c. night

I chose to design a house for a blind person, a sculptor by profession and his favorite time of day, sunset. The installation location of the house was uneven ground, with vegetation and a creek nearby.

Programmatic Knot – Museum of Art and Technology

During this course  I had to study a type of knot and particle flux. After that I was able to conceptualize  both, the knot  and particle flux and  design of a museum of art and technology.
